We welcome students and collaborators interested in human-centered AI, HCI, and learning technologies.

One GRA position available

We are currently recruiting one Graduate Research Assistants (GRAs) to join the lab starting Fall 2027. We are particularly interested in students who want to work at the intersection of AI, HCI, or education.

Applicants should apply through the Ph.D. in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University.

Students with either strong technical backgrounds (e.g. full-stack development, LLMs, RAG, NLP) or human-centered research backgrounds (e.g. HCI, education, UX research, qualitative/quantitative methods) are encouraged to apply.

Other student opportunities

Undergraduate and graduate students may also participate through research volunteering, course or independent study credit, or paid positions when funding is available. Students can contribute to system development, learning activity design, user studies, data analysis, and research publications.

Teachers and community partners

We welcome collaborations with K-12 educators, schools, and community organizations interested in STEM, computing and AI education. We regularly host professional development opportunities for educators across NC, GA and FL. Please contact Dr. Xiaoyi Tian for more information.
